Joseph's son WILLIAM ORREL BROCK had a patent in Spotsylvania Co. in 1713.

On 15 Jun 1773, JOSEPH BROCK had a Patent for 150 acres adjoining Alexander Spotswood, his own, and John Harrison’s land.
